The event “The Meeting of Heaven and Earth – A Place of Magic” took place on October 1, 2023, at Mariawald Monastery in Heimbach.

Together with starguides, the opening session began with a stargazing tour of the area surrounding the monastery. A special highlight was the moonrise and the visibility of Saturn below the moon. The first star visible at twilight and also the main star of the constellation Lyra was Vega, which is also the title of our CD: Vega – 25 Light-Years. Among others, the stars Deneb and Altair were also visible, both of which are also titles on our CD.

The musical accompaniment in the monastery’s cloister was provided by RunningEchoes with their own musical productions tailored to the event.

The package also included a reading, a three-dimensional representation of the planets, and an exhibition of star photographs.
